Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved a proposal to extend the contract of teachers who are working on per class basis in universities of the state.
An official press release issued here said that the Chief Minister has given his consent for the proposal which would be presented before the cabinet to increase the contract of the teachers who are teaching in PG Courses in the universities of the state and also in the constituent colleges on per class basis till March 31, 2020.
It has been decided that an extension would be provided to such teachers till March 31, 2021.
