Meeting of privileges committee held at Vidhan Sabha

Ranchi: A meeting of the privileges committee of the Vidhan Sabha was held in the office of Speaker Ravindranath Mahto.

At the end of the functioning of the house on the second day of the Monsoon Session, the meeting was held in which matters related to privileges violation as cited by the MLAs was discussed.

A total of 12 matters were discussed in the meeting of the committee and necessary instructions were issued. It was also decided that the next meeting of the committee would be held on October 7.

Apart from Speaker Ravindranath Mahto, those who were also present included Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Aalam, MLAs Niral Purty, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Vidhan Sabha Secretary Mahendra Prasad.
