In wake of SC directive all facilities to be provided to devotees at Baidyanath Dham: DIG

Dumka: In wake of the directives of the Supreme Court all amenities would be provided to the devotees who would be coming for darshan at Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple in Deoghar said newly appointed DIG Santhal Pargana Sudarshan Prasad Mandal.

Talking to press after assuming office he said that the apex court has directed to make arrangements to provide a limited number of devotees darshan at the temple which would be implemented by the state government and the district administration. He said that if needed additional policemen would be also deployed inside the temple.

He said that while Dumka and Pakur are among the LWE districts on the other hand Deoghar and Jamtara have turned out to be a hub for cybercrime and the police was committed to remove not only the Maoists but catch all the cybercriminals.

He said that one of the key focus areas for him is to stop the illegal stone and sand mining and assured to take effective steps to improve the police and public relations.
