Wishes pour in from all corners as Hemant Soren turns 45; Prime Minister, Union Ministers and CMs of other state extend greetings

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren turned a year older on Monday.

Wishes poured in from all corners through various social media platforms to the Chief Minister on the occasion of his 45th birthday with the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Arjun Munda greeting Hemant on the day.

The likes of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also wishing Hemant and praying for his good health, well being and long life.

Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, senior leader Saryu Rai, RJD Leader Tej Pratap Yadav and BJP MPs Sanjay Seth, Vidyut Baran Mahto and even Nishikant Dubey extending his birthday wishes to the JMM leader. The cabinet colleagues of the Chief Minister and MLAs from ruling and opposition parties to extended their greetings to him.

On August 10, 1975 Hemant Soren was born in Nemra village of Ramgarh district. Recently he was also ranked at the 12th position among the list of 50 most powerful people of the country.

Hemant Soren had his initial schooling at Central School in Sector 4 of Bokaro and went on to complete his matric and intermediate from Patna and later enrolled for engineering in BIT Mesra Ranchi.

However, as destiny would have it he entered into student politics in the year 2003 and never turned back. Though he had lost his first assembly election from Dumka in the year 2005 to Stephen Marandi, he became an MLA in 2009 from the same seat.
