Singer, songwriter and composer Rhiti Tiwari has now stepped into the Bigg Boss house, 16 years after watching her father and Bhojpuri star Manoj Tiwari become one of the familiar faces of the reality show's fourth season.

For Rhiti, the experience is particularly special because she remembers watching her father on Bigg Boss as a child. Looking back at his 2010 stint, she said Manoj Tiwari was already a popular star before entering the show, but Bigg Boss allowed viewers to see a more personal side of him.

“Before Bigg Boss, Dad was already a star, but I think the show gave him an entirely different kind of exposure,” Rhiti said.

She explained that the show brought her father into the homes of viewers who may not have been familiar with his films or music. Watching him every day allowed audiences to connect with the person behind the celebrity image.

Rhiti still remembers her childhood experience of watching the programme.

“I remember watching every episode as a kid. I would literally wait to see him on screen,” she recalled.

Being separated from her father was difficult, she said, but there was also something exciting about watching him experience life inside the Bigg Boss house.

At the time, Rhiti had no idea that she would one day become a contestant herself. Sixteen years later, she has entered the same reality show, making the journey feel almost surreal.

“Little did I know then that I would be signing up for the same show 16 years in the future,” she said.

The biggest difference now is that their positions have effectively been reversed. As a child, Rhiti was at home waiting to see her father on television. Today, she is the one living inside the Bigg Boss house, while Manoj Tiwari is watching her from outside.

“It feels incredibly surreal because the roles have somehow reversed,” Rhiti said.

Manoj Tiwari participated in Bigg Boss 4, which aired in 2010 and was hosted by Salman Khan. The season featured several well-known names, including television actors Shweta Tiwari and Sara Khan, Samir Soni, Ashmit Patel, Rahul Bhatt, wrestler The Great Khali and Dolly Bindra.

For Rhiti, however, her participation is not simply an extension of her father's television journey. She has been building a career of her own in the independent music space and has released songs including Sab Ghoom Raha Hai and Maansik Santulan.

Her entry into Bigg Boss 20 therefore marks a new chapter in her own career, while also bringing an unusual full-circle moment to the Tiwari family's association with the show.
