Mumbai: Reality show Lock Upp 2 has found itself at the centre of fresh controversy after contestant Shreya Kalra made controversial remarks about fellow contestants Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopra.
During a conversation with fellow contestant Madhuri Jain Grover, Shreya claimed that she had not joined the reality show to revive her career, unlike Shivangi and Harshad. She also asserted that she was more popular than both of them and said she believed her career was only beginning.
"I know I am bigger than all of them because my life has just begun. This isn't the only show I have to do and win. I am going to do a lot more in life. I know that, and I am proud of it because I am talented and skilled," Shreya said.

She went on to criticise the careers of Shivangi and Harshad, alleging that they were using the reality show to regain popularity. Shreya also claimed that Shivangi's last television show had failed and alleged that Harshad was not getting work. She further made a personal remark about Harshad's marital status, saying that no woman would want to marry someone like him.
The comments came shortly after Shreya was involved in a heated argument with contestant Pamela Serena, during which fashion critic Sufi Motiwala also criticised her.
Shivangi Joshi is best known for playing Naira in the long-running television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has also starred in Balika Vadhu 2 and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka.
Harshad Chopra has been a prominent face in the television industry for nearly two decades, earning recognition through popular shows including Bepannaah and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Neither Shivangi Joshi nor Harshad Chopra has publicly responded to Shreya Kalra's remarks so far.
