Priyanka Chopra Takes a Taste of Hyderabad as She Returns to Los Angeles

Mumbai: Global icon Priyanka Chopra has taken a fond memory of Hyderabad with her as she left for Los Angeles after completing the latest shooting schedule of her upcoming film Varanasi.

The actress shared on her Instagram Stories a photograph of Hyderabad’s popular bun maska, which she carried with her during her flight. Captioning the post, she wrote, “Taking a piece of Hyderabad with me… see you soon.. xx.”

Earlier, Priyanka had revealed through social media that it was her final working day in Hyderabad for this schedule of filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s much-anticipated project. She also mentioned that she would soon travel to Los Angeles to promote her upcoming English action thriller The Bluff. The actress assured fans that she would return to resume shooting for Varanasi after completing promotional commitments.

Priyanka has been cast as the lead character, Mandakini, in Varanasi, marking her return to Indian cinema after a long hiatus. The film’s first-look posters showed her holding a pistol while dressed in a yellow saree, generating excitement among fans.

The film also stars Mahesh Babu as Rudhra and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu praised Priyanka’s performance in The Bluff after watching its intense trailer. Sharing the trailer on his Instagram Stories, he described her performance as “uncompromising and formidable” and extended his best wishes to the entire team for the film’s release on February 25.

In The Bluff, Priyanka plays Ercell Bodden, a fierce pirate in an action-heavy role. The film is produced by the Russo Brothers under AGBO Studios in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. The cast also includes Temuera Morrison as Quartermaster Lee, along with Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Zach Morris, David Field, and Vedanten Naidoo in important roles.

The Bluff is scheduled to release on February 25.
