Shanaya Kapoor Spends Saturday Night Listening to ‘Jee Liya’ on Loop

Mumbai: Actress Shanaya Kapoor offered a peek into her laid-back Saturday night, sharing that she spent the evening unwinding to music, with the song ‘Jee Liya’ playing on loop.

Taking to Instagram, Shanaya posted a video of herself enjoying the track ‘Jee Liya’ from the film ‘Tu Yaa Main’, sung by Adarsh Gourav and Lothika Jha.
“Saturday night lights… with jee liya on loop,” she wrote in the caption.

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Tu Yaa Main is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the Colour Yellow banner, in collaboration with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Bhanushali Studios Limited. Set against the backdrop of today’s creator-driven culture, the film explores themes of love and survival with a fresh, youthful sensibility and is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026.

Shanaya recently made her acting debut in the romantic drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, adapted from Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It. The film stars Vikrant Massey as a visually impaired musician and introduces Shanaya as a theatre artist on screen.

Singer Adarsh Gourav is known for his versatile work across films, television, and digital platforms. Trained in Hindustani classical music, he began his career as a child artiste, appearing in films such as My Name Is Khan, where he portrayed the younger version of Shah Rukh Khan’s character.

He later gained widespread recognition for his role as Balram Menon in the Prime Video series Made in Heaven and earned international acclaim for his lead performance in The White Tiger. The role brought him global praise and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama. He has also featured in international projects, including the series Extrapolations, and is widely appreciated for his grounded, character-driven performances.
