Ankita Lokhande Channels Her Inner Madhuri Dixit as She Grooves to ‘Palki Mein Hoke Sawaar’

Mumbai: Actress Ankita Lokhande channeled her inner Madhuri Dixit as she delivered a mesmerising performance to the iconic song “Palki Mein Hoke Sawaar,” famously picturised on the ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl.

Winning hearts with her expressive moves and graceful presence, Ankita shared her joy at being an ’80s child, remarking that music from that era was not merely heard but deeply felt.

Sharing a video of herself dancing to “Palki Mein Hoke Sawaar” on her balcony, the actress wrote on Instagram, “80s–90s ke gaane sirf sune nahi jaate the… mehsoos kiye jaate the. ‘Palki Mein Hoke Sawaar’ ? ‘Madhuri Dixit’, ek ehsaas… (sic).”

Reflecting on the magic of the 1980s and 1990s, the *Pavitra Rishta* actress added, “Is generation ko sound milega, par woh feeling nahi. Grateful to be an 80s child, kyunki wahin se sapne dekhna aur seekhna shuru hua. Aur main… aaj bhi seekh rahi hoon.”

“Palki Mein Hoke Sawaar” is a popular track from the 1993 film *Khal Nayak*, which featured Sanjay Dutt in the lead role.

Meanwhile, Ankita also celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary with Vicky Jain on Sunday. To mark the occasion, the couple shared a heartfelt video capturing some of their most cherished moments over the years, including cake-cutting celebrations and vacation memories.

In the caption, the duo spoke about choosing love even during challenging times and building their relationship on trust, patience, and friendship.

“4 years of us. Of growing, learning, falling, rising side by side. We’ve held each other through the loud days and the quiet ones, choosing love even when it wasn’t easy. What we’ve built is more than time—it’s trust, patience, friendship, and home. If this is what four years feel like, we’re ready for the long, long lifetime ahead. Always us. #AnVIkiKahani #HappyAnniversary #BetterTogether,” the post read.
