Dharmendra Discharged from Hospital; Ambulance Seen Leaving Actor’s Residence

Mumbai — Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who was recently on ventilator support at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, has been discharged and moved home for further treatment, hospital sources confirmed on Tuesday.

An ambulance was seen departing from the 89-year-old actor’s residence earlier in the day. While his family has maintained silence on his current health condition, reports indicate that he has been shifted home under medical supervision. The Juhu area near his residence is reportedly under tight police surveillance.

On Wednesday morning, Bobby Deol was spotted leaving Breach Candy Hospital around 7 a.m., following an ambulance believed to be transporting his father. He was later seen arriving home along with the vehicle.

Dharmendra was admitted on November 10 for medical observation and subsequently moved to the ICU. His wife, Hema Malini, and daughter, Esha Deol, had earlier assured fans that he was stable and recovering. Esha shared a message saying:

“My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.”

Meanwhile, Hema Malini strongly condemned false reports circulating about Dharmendra’s health, calling them “unforgivable” and “highly irresponsible.” She wrote on social media:

“What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

Earlier, Sunny Deol’s team had also issued an update on November 11, confirming that Dharmendra was responding well to treatment and urged fans to continue praying for his recovery.

“Sir is recovering and responding to treatment. Let’s all pray for his good health and long life,” the statement read.
