Mouni Roy Dreams of Island Life While Relaxing at Home

Mumbai – Bollywood actress Mouni Roy took a nostalgic trip down memory lane on Sunday, sharing glimpses of her island vacation from the comfort of her bed.

Posting on Instagram, Mouni shared a series of photos and videos showcasing her carefree tropical vibes. Captioning the post, “In my bed but mentally on an island,” the actress was seen in various bikinis, enjoying serene beach moments. One playful video captured her lying down, making goofy faces at the camera, fully embracing the laid-back mood.

Just a few days earlier, the ‘Gold’ actress had shared that she has started filming her next project, The Wives. She posted a picture with acclaimed director Madhur Bhandarkar, both holding clapboards from the first day on set. “Day 1 on this new film I’m truly excited about, grateful to be creating with the maestro himself @imbhandarkar. Thrilled for the journey ahead. #TheWives @pranavjain27,” she wrote.

Her close friend and fellow actress Disha Patani commented, “Congratulations, my Mon, go kill it!”

The Wives is set in the dazzling world of glamour and also features Sonali Kulkarni, Regina Cassandra, Rahul Bhatt, Saurabh Sachdeva, Arjan Bajwa, and Freddy Daruwala.

Mouni Roy began her acting career in 2006 with the popular television soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and rose to fame playing Sati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. She made her film debut in 2011 with the Punjabi romantic drama Hero Hitler in Love and entered Bollywood in 2018 with Akshay Kumar’s Gold. In 2022, she garnered critical praise for her role in the fantasy epic Brahm?stra: Part One – Shiva.
