New Delhi – Nissan Motor India on Monday announced a price reduction of up to ?1 lakh across its New Magnite range, following the government’s decision to cut GST on passenger vehicles.
The company confirmed it is passing the entire benefit of the tax cut to customers, making the compact SUV more affordable ahead of the festive season.
With the revised pricing, the entry-level New Magnite Visia MT is now priced under ?6 lakh, while the N-Connecta CVT and KURO Special Edition CVT are available for under ?10 lakh. The top-end CVT Tekna and Tekna+ variants have also seen price drops of nearly ?1 lakh.
Additionally, Nissan has reduced the cost of the CNG retrofitment kit, now priced at ?71,999—?3,000 lower than before. Developed by government-approved vendor Motozen, the kit retains the SUV’s 336-litre boot space and comes with a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty.
Calling the GST cut a “timely boost” for the auto industry, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, said the move will fuel demand during the festive season and drive stronger sales momentum.
The revised prices will apply to all deliveries from September 22, the first day of Navratri, though bookings at the new rates are already open across dealerships.
The New Nissan Magnite has been recognised as one of the safest compact SUVs in India, with six airbags as standard and a 5-star GNCAP safety rating for adult occupant protection. Nissan has also rolled out an industry-first 10-year extended warranty plan for the model.
Recently, the carmaker launched the Magnite KURO Special Edition featuring an all-black theme and introduced a Metallic Grey option in Tekna, Tekna+, and N-Connecta variants. The Magnite, known for its design and safety features, is now exported to over 65 countries worldwide.
