Cabinet decisions: DA for government employees increased by 3 percent

Ranchi: The state government has decided to increase the DA of the government employees from 9 percent to 12 percent with effect from January 1, 2019 in wake of the implementation of the seventh pay commission. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here.

Apart from that the cabinet has also decided to increase the DNA of the the pensioners and family pension beneficiaries by three percent from the existing nine percent to 12 percent with effect from January 1, 2019. It was also decided to make amendments in in the order dated March 8 2019 regarding appointing M/S ESSL for installing LED lights in the gram panchayats of the state.

In a key decision the government has decided to double the work order limit to be executed by beneficiary committee under the 14th finance commission from Rs 2.50 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. It was also agreed to give minning lease extension to SAIL for minning of iron ore in 1443.756 hectares of land in Durgayburu of West Singhbhum district.

A sum of Rs 47,600 was also approved for the geologists hired by state minning and geology department from September 2017. The cabinet also decided to make amendments in the rules for Jharkhand Panchayat Sachiv (appointment conditions and duties) (amended) 2014.

A proposal to appoint M/S Mancorp Innovation Labs Pvt Ltd to design, development implementation and support of Artificial intelligence based Comprehensive Decision Support Smart Court in Jharkhand High Court on a pilot basis was also approved from retrospective effect.

A decision to provide financial assistance for digitaisation works at AG office Ranchi was also approved by the party. Further it was also decided the work related to research survey and filing application for the registration of geographical indication of state of Jharkhand and guiding in establishing intellectual property rights centre for MSME’s be given to NLSU Bangalore at cost of Rs 33.55 lakh.
