Jharkhand Police reshuffle: 459 personnel transferred across different units

The Jharkhand Police Department has carried out a major reshuffle involving 459 police personnel, with constables and head constables being transferred and assigned to new places of posting.

According to the transfer order, the list includes 261 male constables, 72 female constables and 126 head constables. The personnel will now be posted across different police stations, outposts, pickets and other police units.

The transfers are part of the department's administrative exercise to reorganise manpower and ensure personnel are deployed according to operational requirements. The move will also bring changes in the composition of police teams working at various field-level units.

The department has directed all personnel named in the order to report at their respective new places of posting without delay. Officers under whose jurisdiction the transferred personnel have been assigned have also been instructed to ensure compliance with the order.

With the transfer order now in effect, the concerned personnel are expected to take charge at their new locations as the department begins implementing the reshuffle across the district.
