New Delhi: The NTA has cancelled the 2026 NEET examination and govt has ordered ordered CBI probe ibn the paper leak. The cancellation of NEET 2026 has created widespread concern among students, parents, and educational institutions across India.
Around 45 people have been detained in paper leak of NEET 2026.
Allegations of a paper leak and irregularities in the examination process raised serious questions about the fairness and transparency of one of the country’s most important medical entrance exams. In response to growing protests and demands for justice, the government decided to cancel the examination and hand over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The CBI probe aims to identify the individuals and groups involved in the paper leak racket. Reports suggest that organized networks may have helped certain candidates gain unfair advantages by accessing question papers before the exam. Such malpractices damage the credibility of the education system and negatively affect hardworking students who prepare honestly for years.
The cancellation has also led to stress and uncertainty among lakhs of aspirants who must now wait for further announcements regarding a re-examination. However, many people believe that a strict investigation is necessary to ensure justice and maintain the integrity of competitive exams. The incident highlights the urgent need for stronger security measures, digital monitoring, and strict punishment for those involved in examination fraud.
