Refunds in Full Progress; IndiGo Set to Operate 1,650 Flights Today

New Delhi— IndiGo on Sunday reported strong and steady improvement in its operations as it works to return to normal after days of major disruptions.

The airline said that refunds are being processed smoothly and confirmed it is on track to operate more than 1,650 flights today, a notable increase from around 1,500 flights operated on Saturday.

In a fresh statement, IndiGo said it has taken several steps in the past two days to stabilise its network.

“Following the recent operational disruptions, IndiGo confirms that we are establishing further significant and sustained improvements across our network,” the airline said.

The carrier noted a sharp rise in its On-Time Performance (OTP), which improved to 75% today, compared to nearly 30% recorded the previous day.

It added that flight cancellations are now being made earlier, giving passengers more advance notice.

IndiGo said its teams are working round-the-clock to restore normal operations and improve passenger experience. Refunds and baggage processes are functioning at full capacity—for both direct customers and those who booked through travel agents.

The airline expressed confidence that the network will stabilise by December 10, ahead of the previously estimated December 10–15 timeline.

IndiGo advised passengers to check the latest flight status on its website before heading to the airport, as minor adjustments may still occur while operations are fine-tuned.

For refunds, customers can use the dedicated link on IndiGo’s website or contact customer support.

Apologising again for the inconvenience caused, IndiGo thanked travellers for their patience and appreciated the efforts of its employees and partners.

“We are grateful for the patience, trust and understanding shown by our customers and the tireless efforts of our employees and partners. We continue to work closely with all authorities and stakeholders to ensure a swift return to full normalcy,” an IndiGo spokesperson added.
