CCL Pays Homage to Birsa Munda on His 150th Birth Anniversary

Ranchi: Marking Tribal Pride Year 2025 and the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, the CCL family honoured the legendary tribal icon at the company headquarters. Officers, employees, trade union representatives, and social dignitaries participated in the solemn tribute ceremony.

The event opened with floral offerings at the statue of Birsa Munda. CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, CVO Pankaj Kumar, senior CCL officials, SC-ST Council Chairman Brijkishore Ram, trade union leaders, departmental heads, and general managers were present during the occasion.

Remembering “Dharti Aba” Birsa Munda as a symbol of Jharkhand’s pride, tribal identity, and a valiant freedom fighter who led the historic Ulgulan movement, the CCL family paid heartfelt respects. His unmatched courage, leadership, and dedication to safeguarding land, water, and forests were hailed as an enduring source of inspiration for Jharkhand and the entire nation.

The participants raised the slogan “Birsa Munda Amar Rahein” and pledged to uphold his ideals and continue his vision. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and attendees.
