Ranchi: In a move aimed at providing festive relief to women beneficiaries, the Jharkhand government has announced that those under the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana who missed their previous payment will receive a double installment this month.
According to officials, women who did not get the 14th installment will now receive both the 14th and 15th installments together, amounting to ?5,000 directly in their bank accounts. Those who had already received the previous installment will get the regular 15th installment of ?2,500 as scheduled.
The 15th installment has already been credited in 12 districts — Ranchi, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Lohardaga, Gumla, Jamtara, Simdega, Chatra, Pakur, and Garhwa — where verification of documents and applications had been completed earlier. The remaining districts are expected to receive payments between October 20 and 25.
Officials said the initiative aims to ensure timely financial support to all eligible women, allowing them to celebrate the festive season with economic security and dignity. Beneficiaries can check their payment status by visiting the official Maiyan Samman Yojana portal, entering their application or Aadhaar number, and completing an OTP-based verification.
