Ranchi: In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police’s Special Cell and Jharkhand ATS jointly arrested a suspected ISI operative from a lodge in Ranchi’s Lower Bazaar area. The individual has been identified as Ashhar Danish, a resident of Jharkhand.
IG Operations Dr. Michael Raj confirmed the arrest to the Reporter Post, stating that the suspect is currently in custody and being interrogated.
According to officials, Danish had been staying at Tabarak Lodge in Islamnagar for the past several days. During the operation, security forces seized weapons along with several electronic gadgets from his possession.
Authorities believe the Delhi Police Special Cell may soon take the suspect to Delhi on remand for further investigation.
