Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court, during the hearing on the petition filed by ED officials, issued a notice to former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and directed him to file a reply.
Also, the court has extended the stay order on the notice given by Ranchi Police under Section 41A against ED officials till the next hearing.
Actually, 41A notice was sent to ED officials in the SC-ST case registered by the then Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Ranchi Police had sent notices to ED officials as well as media groups asking for information.
ED officials had filed a petition in the High Court against the notice of Ranchi Police.
On which the hearing was held in the court of High Court Judge Justice Anil Kumar Chaudhary.
Public Prosecutor Amit Kumar Das argued on behalf of ED.
Advocate Vineet Vashishtha argued on behalf of the state government.
