Businessmen Amit Agarwal and Dilip Ghosh sent to 72 Hours ED remand in connection with Army Land Scam Case

Ranchi: Businessmen Amit Agarwal and Dilip Ghosh sent to 72 Hours Enforcement Directorate (ED) remand in connection with Army Land Scam Case in Ranchi on Friday. Special ED Court Judge Dinesh Rai ordered them to send them in 72 hours ED Custody to both of them. 

As per the evidence found on fake land Deed, Stamp and Documents ED arrested 7 accused including Revenue Officer Bhanu Pratap, Pradeep Bagchi, Afsar Ali, Imtiyaz Khan, Fayaz Khan, Muhammad Saddam and Former Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan in April 14.

According to reports as per fake deed and documents Pradeep Bagachi sold land to Jagat Bandhu E State Owner Dilip Ghosh and his aide Amit Agarwal. 

In that connection, ED arrested all the seven accused for selling Army Land in an illegal manner. Jharkhand High Court Advocate Rajeev Kumar filed a PIL against this scam. To take back the case Advocate Rajeev Kumar was called to Kolkata by Businessman Amit Agarwal on the same day Advocate Rajeev Kumar was arrested for taking Rs 50 Lakh bribe from businessman Amit Agarwal by Kolkata Police.
