Ranchi: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) General Secretary Milind Pandey arrived at Saraswati Vidya Mandir School in Ranchi to take part in the closing ceremony of a week-long programme on the topic ‘History of Ancient Old Hindu Religion in India’. Almost 300 Durga Vahini Women Volunteers took part in this event.
In the programme, it is also stressed that Women's Empowerment is necessary in today’s world. Women should take part in social activities and must contribute their efforts to society. Women are the forms of Goddess Durga, said Milind Pandey.
In the programme, Milind Pandey said that Hindus are as old as the ancient civilization exists. Hindu religion or Sanatan Religion has many traditions and customs and they have been scientifically proven. Hinduism is related to nature. We worship Rivers, Trees, Mountains, Sun God and the motherland.
Hindu religion is based on Four Vedas namely Rig Veda, Ayurveda, Sam Veda and Atharva Veda. Epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata reveal social and religious upliftment of the society through the avatars of Lord Rama and
Krishna.
