Ranchi: During the ongoing festival of Chaitra Navratri Chief Minister Hemant Soren along with his family members offered obeisance at Deori Mata Mandir in Tamar.
The Chief Minister was made to perform the rituals by the priests of the temple during which he prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the state. The Chief Minister said that people have huge respect and faith in this ancient temple and devotees from various corners come here to seek the blessings of the deity.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has worked out a plan to develop the surrounding areas of the temple and hoped the beautification work of the temple will be over soon and the devotees will be able to see a grand temple here.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife Kalpana Soren and kids. Tamar MLA Vikas Munda had also accompanied him. A large crowd of people also gathered at the temple to see the Chief Minister.
