MET issues alert as capital Ranchi and other districts receive rainfall coupled with winds

Ranchi: The weather is constantly changing in all the districts of the state including the capital Ranchi. This change in the weather will be seen for the next two days. There was a change in the weather since morning on Sunday.

As the day progressed the weather started changing. It drizzled in the capital Ranchi for more than two hours. At the same time, thunder and lightning also took place. An alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department. 

The Meteorological Department has clearly said that unnecessary exit from the house should be avoided. Life and property can be damaged due to thundering. In the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, it has been said that in the wind will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in the entire Jharkhand amidst the rain.

At the same time, thundering and hailstorms have also been predicted. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and some parts of the Khunti district. According to Abhishek Anand, a scientist of the Meteorological Center, there may also be thunderstorms. 

In view of this, a yellow alert has also been issued by the department. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also instructed the people to keep themselves in safe places at this time. In the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, it has been said that it may rain in almost the entire state.

Rain has been forecast in Chatra, Garhwa and Latehar districts. Along with these districts, rains will also take place in Garhwa, Giridih, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Lohardaga and Ramgarh districts along with cold winds.
