Rs 2250 crore to be spent under Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana: Raghubar

Chatra: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that building a healthy and self-reliant Jharkhand is a priority for his government and announced that scheme like ‘Swasth Chatra’ (Healthy Chatra) would be implemented across the state provision for which will be
made in the annual budget of the state which would be announced on January 22. 

Addressing the people during the Healthy Chatra programme organized at the local Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here he said that the government is working to ensure that no is without medicines in the state by the year 2022. He said that under the 108 ambulance services 300 ambulances are being operated in the state and soon another 30 will also be added.

Mr Das said that the achievements made in the area of health, education, cleanliness and other sectors has been achieved manily on account of the participation of the people. He said that it was due to the efforts of the people that works were lauded by Niti Aayog and awards were conferred on the state. Mr Das said that due to the central government the prestige of India across the globe has increased as ‘Pradhan Sevak’ is working for the prosperity and empowerment of the villages, poor, farmers, women and youth. 

The Chief Minister said that the state government has provided jobs to 1.06 lakh youth on a single day which was also lauded by the ambassadors of 18 countries and in the days to come 30,000 youth would be linked with jobs after enhancing their skills as for the first time the skill development ministry was constituted by the Union Government. Mr Das said that whether it was rural areas or construction of roads and highways works was being done in all the sectors of the state.

He said that in the last 14 year the speed of road construction was just above one kilometer per day which has increased to 3.8 kilometers per day in the last four days and attributed all the development to the strong and permanent government in the state.

Mr Das also announced that soon foundation would be laid for building the steel plants in Chatra and Chaibasa for which coordination has been established with the central government. He said that the opening of the steel plants will create new jobs for the people. He said that the government was also working to provide water from deep boring in more than 1200 tribals and Dalit villages of the state
and by 2020 the water will be collected in tanks and will be supplied in homes through pipelines.

Mr Das also lauded the women for their contribution in the development projects of the state and said that it was due to their efforts that in four years Jharkhand has been declared ODF. He also said that soon poultry federation society will be formed so that women can also move ahead in the production of eggs and called the women and the youth to come forward in dairy as the government will provide them with 50 percent subsidy.

He said that the state government was starting Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana under which money would be given in the account of the farmers through DBT and under this scheme a sum of Rs 2250 crore would be spent and the money will be in the accounts of farmers by April-May. 

Attacking the opposition he said that a party which ruled the country for maximum time made a tribal independent MLA the Chief Minister and indulged in scam of Rs 4000 crore while another regional party gave the sand mines of the state to a Mumbai based company, on the other hand, the present government made sand take off free and said that all these forces were just joining hands so that they can remove the Prime Minister so that they can push the nation and the state further towards corruption. Under the Healthy Chatra programme, the Chief Minister started many schemes including motorcycle ambulance yojana and also distributed kits among the Sahiyas.

Those present on the occasion also included Chatra MP Sunil Singh, MLA Jaiprakash Bokta, Chatra DC and SP and others.
