Ranchi: The weather in the state is all set to change from Friday with rains predicted between February 20-22. The weather station said that during this period light to moderate rainfall will take place in the state. A western disturbance is being formed in Rajasthan and its impact will also be seen in Jharkhand also.
The weather station has said that from February 20-22 in northwestern districts Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga, in southern districts including East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Saraikela and in central regions including Ranchi, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh light to medium range of rainfall may take place.
On Thursday also in Ranchi and other districts mild cloud cover was reported due to which the sun did not appear too warm as a result of which people felt the cold.
