Chief Secretary directs DC to complete the process of promotion to employees soon

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi instructed all the DCs of the state to complete the pending process related to promotion of the state government employees at the district level as soon as possible so that pending payment can be made to them by month end. In an interaction with the DCs through video conferencing from the project building here he also asked them to carry out the task of distribution of blankets among the needy keeping in mind the declining winter temperature. On the other
hand under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in health care centers were doctors at less at those places at local level arrangements
of doctors be made.

He also asked the officials to keep an eye on such private hospitals who are discouraging patients to get the treatment done under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and asked them to increase the number of claims filed under the scheme. Mr Tripathi pointed that it has come to notice that while the private hospitals were fulfilling the process of Ayushman Bharat Yojana they were not generating claims.

Health Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni said that 238 private hospitals had applied for empanelment under the scheme and asked the DCs to conduct inspection of the hospital and reject those which are not up to the mark while those which fulfill the criteria should be appointed soon and asked to give deworming tablets to the students during assembly in the schools.

Principal Secretary Home S K G Rahate said that after the review of the central team to make an assessment of drought in the state a list should be prepared soon regarding the distribution of cash per day to the farmers, workers and children for livelihood. It was said that between 30-90 days the adult would be given Rs 60 per day while for children it would be Rs 45 per day. He also asked to complete the process of appointment on compensation grounds as soon as possible. 

Secretary of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Aradhana Patnaik directed to upload the photographs of the toilets which have been constructed in ODF declared villages so that funds from the centre can be taken after completion of 90 percent and also asked to undertake new applications of toilet construction. She also asked the officials to take advantage of Govardhan Yojana. Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department K K Soan said that all complaints related to the land acquisition which were brought in the Jansamwad should be handed over to the department so that jointly they can be sorted out from the headquarters while pending work of making income and caste certificates should be given to the newly appointed employees. On the other hand,

Principal Secretary of the School Education Department asked the DCs to prepare a list of matric and inter exam centers and send the same as soon as possible and also directed to provide school dress to the students. He laid stress on speeding up the process of school mergers while Food and Civil Supplies Secretary Amitabh Kaushal said that if such people who are taking ration through wrong ration cards do not surrender their cards by December 31 than fine would be collected from them and also asked to pay the farmer selling their paddy at  procurement centers on time.

Over the issue of social boycott of rape victims he asked the DCs to get the matter probed by the judicial magistrate and submit the report.
