Education Minister Jaggarnath Mahto tests positive for Coronavirus, brought to RIMS from Bokaro

Ranchi: Education Minister Jaggarnath Mahto on Monday tested positive for Coronavirus after which he was brought from Bokaro and admitted at RIMS Ranchi and has been kept at Covid Center at the hospital.

The Minister was having breathing difficulties since Sunday night and was suffering from cold and coupled with a fever after which on Monday in an ambulance he was brought from his home located in Bhandaridah of Bokaro district to Ranchi.

As per the information received the oxygen level of the minister has dropped and the doctors were keeping an eye on his condition. The Minister had himself shared information in this regard on Twitter and wrote that he had tested positive for Coronavirus and has been admitted at RIMS. He urged the people who had come in his contact over the last few days to get themselves tested for Coronavirus.

Before that, he had tweeted that since he was feeling unwell due to the busy schedule of the last few days, therefore, he was going to RIMS for treatment due to which all the programmes for the day have been canceled.
