Simdega: Four people including a woman were killed following a dispute which took place at Mahuadih village under Kutmakachar panchayat of Kurdeg police station area over collecting Mahua between two families.
Two members each from both the sides were killed in the incident. The deceased have been identified as Viplo Yadav (70), Mahendra Yadav (55), Sunil Yadav and Lenwati Devi.

A total of five men from both the families were arrested in this connection. Police said that for the murder of Viplo Yadav and Mahendra Yadav, Leeladhar Yadav and Guleshwar Yadav were arrested while for the murder of Lenwati Devi and Sunil Yadav, Uday Chand, Rupesh Yadav and Durga Yadav were caught.
Upon receiving information DSP Shahdeo Sah along with officer incharge of Kurdeg Police Station Mohan Baitha reached on the spot and inquired into the incident.
Later in the case, FIRs from both sides were registered after which the accused were sent to judicial custody. All the bodies have been sent for post-mortem
