Virus does not see religion or community of person: Hemant

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that people needed to remain aware and alert of Coronavirus as the virus does not see the religion or community of any person. In a series of tweets, he said that if the people will not adopt the safety measures than all will fall prey to it.

He asked the people to support each other so that people who have any of the symptoms can come forward for tests. Following the directions of the Chief Minister a fir has been registered against PDS dealer of Arangi panchayat of Khaurondhi block and has directed Garhwa DC to ensure that people of the panchayat get foodgrains properly.

Minister Mithlesh Thakur had informed the Chief Minister that the dealer had not given ration for the last three months in the village. Garhwa DC said that fir has been registered and within 15 days his licence will be cancelled after issuing a show cause.

In another tweet, he directed Palamu DC to take action against ration dealer. The Chief Minister was informed that the dalit families had not given ration.
