Hemant on Twitter: Bokaro administration asked to provide ration card to childless old age couple

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren through his twitter handle issued a series of instructions throughout the day including providing old-age pension and ration card to an old age couple hailing from Bokaro who are childless.

The Chief Minister in this particular case has asked the Bokaro DC to inform him once the process for both are completed. He was informed on social media that the old age couple who hails from Dhadhaikya village of Kasmar block were not able to get even one-time meal as their old age pension was stopped for the last four months.

On the other hand, he has directed Ranchi DC to provide benefits under serious disease schemes to Kaushik Majumdar who was battling with kidney-related ailments and was admitted at Hyderabad based hospital. An appeal in this regard was made by the younger brother of Majumdar who had sought help from the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister in a separate tweet said that he was getting information regarding negligence being committed by the officials during Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme. He asked all the DCs to ensure that people get the benefits of this initiative and they do not have to run from one place to another.

He was informed that after the DC following the programme at Bagodar of Giridih district all the other officials also left from the spot without listening to the people. The Chief Minister has directed the officials to solve the complaints of the people on a priority basis and has also assured that he will be visiting the area to interact with the people.
