JPCC organises state wide demonstrations against demonetisation

Ranchi (By our correspondent): The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee organised agitation programme at all the district
headquarters of the state to protest against the second anniversary of demonetisation in the nation. JPCC spokesperson Lal Kishore
Nath Shahdeo said that after two years of the demonetisation the Prime Minister is yet to tell the people as to whom have been really benefitted by the demonetisation.

He said that contrary to the claims which the Prime Minister had given behind his decision, in reality, the people had to undergo lots of pain and stress as the day also meant that the nation was put towards economic crisis. He said that none of the benefits which have been pointed out by the Prime Minister have reached to the people.

Mr. Shahdeo said that when 99.37 percent of the currency which was in the market reached the banks than where did the black money vanish. Moreover, due to the demonetisation the small industries were shut and lakhs became unemployed for which the Prime Minister should take moral responsibility, he added. The spokesperson said that after two years it can be said that the demonetisation was mainly meant at making the black money go white. He said that the agitation of the party today in the entire state was very successful as a large number of people had supported the cause.
