CM directs Jharkhand Police to pay attention on women security

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the state police to pay attention to women's safety.

Following a tweet in which he was informed that a group of youth had attacked women who were opposing eve-teasing with a sharp-edged knife he has directed the police to take strict action against the guilty. Further on the directions of the Chief Minister the Dumka district administration has provided a ration card to a family in Jarmundi.

In another tweet to Dumka administration, he asked the officials to solve the pension-related matter of Jubaida Bibi as due to a small mistake in Aadhar card she was not getting pension for the last 3-4 months.

Hemant also expressed his concern over the scams taking place in Jamdiha of Dhanbad district and asked to take strict action against the guilty. He also urged the Dhanbad MP and MLA to extend cooperation in solving the complaints of the people.

He asked the DC of East Singhbhum to take action against erring contractors who were doing mismanagement in parking contracts following which the district administration issued notice against the contractors and apart from action against the culprits also issued a helpline number for the people.

In another order for Ramgarh DC he asked to make sure that a woman hailing from Gola block of Ramgarh district was provided her old age pension without any delay.
