Jaipur Polo Team Set Up Summit Clash with Dynamix Achievers in BM Birla Cup

Jaipur — The Jaipur Polo Team stormed into the final of the BM Birla Cup with a commanding 8–4 victory over Suhana All Stars in the semi-final clash held at the Rajasthan Polo Club on Saturday.

South African polo star Lance Watson led the charge for Jaipur, scoring five goals to seal a decisive win for the home side.

Jaipur made their intentions clear from the start, launching a series of aggressive attacks in the opening chukker. Watson struck twice in the 2nd and 6th minutes, while Vandit Golecha added a third to give Jaipur a strong 3–0 lead by the end of the first chukker.

The momentum continued in the second chukker, with Jaipur adding two more goals to extend their advantage to 5–0 midway through the match. In the third chukker, they stretched the lead further with two additional goals before Suhana All Stars mounted a brief comeback. Dhruvpal Godara scored twice and Segundo Fernandez Llorente added one to reduce the deficit.

The final chukker saw both teams trade a goal each. For Jaipur, Maharaja Padmanabh Singh netted his second of the game — bringing his overall tournament tally to 13 goals — while Llorente scored once more for Suhana All Stars.

At full time, Jaipur emerged 8–4 winners, marking another dominant performance in their stellar season.

The Jaipur Polo Team will now face Dynamix Achievers in the tournament final at the Rajasthan Polo Club on October 12.

Jaipur’s impressive form continues, having already captured titles at the Gen Amar Singh Kanota Cup, the Sawai Man Guard Cup, and the Chinkara Cup, with victories over the Mayfair Polo Team, Kognivera Stallions Polo Team, and Carysil Polo, respectively.
