Ranchi : New Zealand won the second match played for 5th to 8th place in the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier on Thursday. An exciting match was played between New Zealand and Czech Republic in the Olympic qualifiers. New Zealand dominated the entire match. Earned 10 penalty corners one after the other. But could not convert even one of them into goals.
The score between New Zealand and Czech Republic was 0-0 till three quarters. New Zealand attacked in the last minute of the match. Won the match by scoring goals in the 57th and 60th minutes of the match. Katie Dor and Samantha Child scored goals for New Zealand.
