Martyr Vijay Soren remembered on first anniversary of Pulwama incident

Gumla: On the first anniversary of Pulwama incident tributes were paid to martyr Vijay Soreng during a function which was organised at Kumhari High School from where the martyr completed his schooling.

However, the widow of the martyr claimed that despite one year gone as per the promise she has not yet received the compensation. Father of the martyr Vijay Soreng said that it was also announced that the MLAs of the state and employees of the secretariat will be donating their own day salary to the martyr's family but that too has also not come to them.

He said that his grandson is being offered a job in the army but he has no desire to serve in the army. Moreover, the money to be received from the army is also pending in the court due to which the entire family was worried, however, he was extremely proud of the fact that his son had made the supreme sacrifice for the cause of the nation.
