Daltonganj: In a major success for the Palamu police five ultras belonging to separate splinter maoist outfits have been arrested from different police station areas of the district along with arms.
Palamu SP Ajay Linda said that IG operations Saket Kumar Singh had received a tip-off regarding the movement of the sub-zonal commander of TSPC (Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee) Nishan alias Nishant Ji following which a team of the local police and Jharkhand Jaguar arrested the man who originally hails from Gaya district of Bihar.
Following the information provided by him, police conducted a raid in Khumbikhurd village under Nawabazar Police Station area and arrested another sub-zonal commander of the outfit identified as Gulab Ganjhu alias Pankaj Ji. From him, a loaded country-made rifle and 4 cartridges were recovered.
