Ranchi: In a joint operation conducted by the Ranchi and Khunti Police a hardcore ultra of the CPI Maoists have been arrested from Angada of the Ranchi district.
The arrested ultra has been identified as Birsa Munda alias Naina who is the member of maoist squad led by sub-zonal commander Boyda Pahan.
He was arrested from a hospital where he was undergoing treatment. A total of 7 cases are registered against the arrested ultra in separate police station areas of Khunti district.
Following a tip-off regarding a squad member of Boyda Pahan undergoing treatment at the hospital a joint team of both the districts conducted raids and arrested the ultra.
