Hemant urges MEA to help bring body of Sindri resident from Dubai

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has urged the Ministry of External Affairs to help in bringing back the body of a resident of Sindri which was in Dubai for the last 17 days.

Hemant has urged the MEA to take necessary steps so that the mortal remains of Jai Prakash Mahto can be brought back which can enable the family members to catch the last glimpse of their son.

He has requested the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhanbi, External Affairs Ministry and Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar in this regard.

He said that as far as the state government was concerned Dhanbad DC had provided all the necessary documents needed to bring back the body.

Jaiprakash Mahto worked as a pipe fitter in a Dubai based company that met with an accident on December 28, 2019 in which he died but his body is yet to reach his family members back in Sindri.
