Special security arrangements for rush of devotees on occasion of new year

Ranchi: Special arrangements have been put into place at the Pahadi Temple in wake of the New Year Celebrations with more than 100 policemen being deployed at the spot along with six magistrates.

Sadar SDO Lokesh Mishra has made these arrangements and to prevent the traffic jam in the wake of the people coming to the temple in their vehicles many drop gates have been built. In the wake of the crowd the Sarkari Puja will be performed at 3.30 am and at 4 am in the morning the doors of the temple will be opened for the people.

As part of new arrangements divyang and people above 70 years of age will be provided with the facility of VIP Darshan as they would be taken from the backside to the top of the temple to prevent them from the crowd.

In another initiative this time the men and women will be separately going to the temple for which steel barricading has been put on the temple stairs whereas for devotees who will not be able to climb they can see the images on LED screen. For the devotee's arrangements for 1,000 earthen pots have been made so that they can offer jala-abhishek.

The temple management committee has made arrangements to air Shiv Mantra from the sound system which is in place at the temple and in all the temples priests will be present. The committee has also made arrangements for round the clock cleaning at the temple premises.
