Chatra on boil after two minors raped, people on streets demanding arrest

Chatra: People are up in the streets of this district demanding the arrest of the culprits who had raped and murdered a couple of minor girls under Piparwar Police Station area of this district.

Though police have managed to arrest one of the accused people are demanding the arrest of remaining culprits.

Thousands of people today hit the streets and indulged in slogan shouting against the local administration and the police.

Later they also gheraoed the Piparwar Police Station. Meanwhile, to prevent the incident from blowing out many senior police officials are camping in the area and paramilitary forces have been also deployed.

On the other hand, politics has also started taking place over the issue with Mahila Morcha president of Jharkhand Congress Gunjan Sinha reaching the spot demanding for the immediate arrest of the culprits.

She demanded that through a fast track court the culprits should be punished and given death punishment.
