Pakur: Police have seized a huge cache of explosives materials from Malpahadi OP of this district.
Pakur SP Rajeev Ranjan Singh said that police had received tip off regarding explosive materials being smuggled into the state from West Bengal after which a vehicle checking drive was launched in the area.
He said that during a vehicle checking drive at Sigada village a couple of men carrying heavy bags on a motorcycle were signaled to stop who instead left their vehicle and fled towards the forest.
Upon searching the bags 900 pieces of Neogel were recovered which was seized by the police.
