Raghubar accuses Soren family of buying land of tribals at throw away prices

Khunti: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das alleged that the JMM and the Congress party deliberately did not allow development to reach to the tribals and only filled the ballot boxes in their names and said that the Soren family did their own development and left the poor on their own.

Addressing an election gathering in Torpa he said that that the Soren family violated the provisions of the CNT and SPT Acts and purchased the land of tribals worth crores at throwaway prices. He said that in these elections the people needed to make a choice between the culture of loot and culture of development. He said that the vote of the people will decide the future of Jharkhand therefore people should vote wisely later than regretting for the next five years.

He said that it was the BJP government that has managed to control corruption and naxalism in the state and has taken concrete steps to remove the ultras forever from Jharkhand. Mr Das said that it was his government which after many decades in several villages provided electricity and roads as the sole aim of the double engine government was only development.

Mr Das said that the government has also taken steps for women empowerment and in the last five years formed 2.17 lakh self-help groups and even the right to supply ready to eat meal in the anganwadi centers has been given to the women. On the other hand, the youth of the villages were being made skilled and girls were being provided a large number of jobs in the textile sector.

The Chief Minister said that it is the target of the BJP government to link atleast one family member from the poor family with employment. He said that the BJP does not make discrimination on the basis of caste and creed in the execution of the government schemes. He said that the farmers have also received double benefits under Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana.
