Congress too against illegal insurgents but not in favour of religious frenzy: Anwar

Ranchi: Senior Congress leader Tareek Anwar said that his party too has been against the illegal insurgents with late Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi taking action against them however the religious frenzy being created by the BJP over the issue was wrong.

Addressing a press conference at the JPCC headquarters here he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading the people from the real issues and claimed that the hopes with which the state of Jharkhand was created have not been fulfilled.

He said that the Prime Minister claims that maoists have been removed from the state but conducting the polls in five phases shows the maoists have rather increased in the state.
