Constitution unites the nation in one thread: Chief Secretary

Ranchi: Chief Secretary Dr DK Tiwari said that the constitution unites the nation in one thread and it is necessary for every citizen of the country to be aware of the fundamental duties.

The Constitution of the country led to the creation of a strong democracy and a united India. The Constitution of India was prepared under the leadership of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar who worked to bind the country in one thread Chief Secretary Dr DK Tiwari made these comments on the occasion of Constitution Day before administering the oath to the Preamble of the Constitution to all officials, officers and personnel at the ministry of Jharkhand.

He said that all people have their fundamental duties in the society. He said that the Constitution of India is the basis of equal law and equal rights for all people and every citizen of the country should use their fundamental rights as provided by the Constitution.

He said that giving uniform laws and constitutions in the country was a big challenge but Bharat Ratna and great social reformer Baba Saheb worked tirelessly to create an equitable constitution and worked to keep the country united. He said that today is the day to take an oath that we all should work for strengthening the democracy of the country, which will make the dream of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar come true.
