BJP has always encouraged tribals says PM, effective steps taken for their welfare

Gumla: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to woo the tribals of the state to vote for the BJP in the assembly elections by reminding the people with the connections which Lord Ram and Hanuman share with the tribals and forest dwellers and also highlighted how his party has always worked and encouraged the tribals.

In his second election rally of the day which he addressed in Puggu of Gumla district he said that it was Rajkumar Ram who left Ayodhya when he went on the Vanwas of 14 years but when he returned back he came as ‘Maryada Purushottam Ram’.

“It was Rajkumar Ram who left Ayodhya for a Vanwas of 14 years but when he returned he became Maryada Purushottam Ram because he had lived in the forest among the tribals,” he said that in the course of his journey he also stayed for some time in this region.

The Prime Minister said that Gumla is also the home of Anjan Dham where ‘Bal Swaroop’ of Lord Hanuman has been found. Raking up the Ram Mandir issue he said that the country knows what politics the Congress and its allies did on the Ram Mandir issue.

Accusing the Congress party of dividing the society over the Ram Mandir issue he said that just for the vote bank politics the verdict in the Ayodhya case was delayed. He said that every peace loving country men will not forget what kind of politics the Congress party did and delayed the issue.

The Prime Minister said that it is the BJP which has solved the problems of the tribals and will continue to work to fulfill their aspirations. Mr Modi also defined Jharkhand as a land of bravehearts sages and great men whose inspiring personality gives separate stature to Jharkhand and recalled the valour of Param Veer Chakra winner Albert Ekka, Vijay Soreng and Naymen Kujur who gave their lives for their motherland.

“These are the bravehearts who inspire me and my colleagues to take strong decisions,” he said. Mr Modi said that lots of things have changed between 2014 and 2019. He said that naxalism was one of the prime concerns in the area and lauded the role of the state government and the people as to how Gumla and its adjoining areas have been made free almost free from the environment of fear.

He said that due to violence development was slow to reach in these areas due to which youth were forced to migrate from the area however under the present government naxalism has been reduced as intentions are clear and honest efforts are being made in this regard. He said that the Congress and its allies whether they are in power in Delhi or in Ranchi there is ‘Khot’ in their ‘Niti’ and ‘Niyat’.

“ These parties used the naxal for politics and also enacted of waging fight against them,” he said in the these five years the state and the central government have taken concrete steps to solve the naxal problem and said that those who want to come back for them open hearted efforts are being made.

He said that when youth and daughter return back to the development process their mothers cried in joy and gave blessings to the party and it was due to their blessings that he has been able to take strong decisions. The Prime Minister said that when on November 30 and in December lotus will boom in Ranchi and Delhi than the double engine government with full confidence break the back bone of the Maoists.

Continuing his attacks on the opposition he said that the earlier government had declared Gumla as naxal hit and people had been left alone and moreover the officials of the area were also discouraged but when BJP came into power Gumla was included among 112 aspirational districts and in a year the district featured among the top three performers in the area of education and skill development.

He said that Congress and their friends threw the state into darkness and their intentions have not changed till date and asked the people to remain alert from such forces. He accused the Congress and the JMM of trying to destroy the image of the state.

In a veiled attack on the Congress and the JMM for raising the issue of mob lynching vigorously he said that violence is wrong in any form but it was shown like that whether the tribals or backwards of the state and all other sections only indulge in violence.

He said that there was negativity in the ideology of the Congress and the JMM. Highlighting the works of the government which are being done for the people he pointed the example of Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana under which nearly 10 lakh homes have been already constructed in the state and promised that those who have not got homes they would be getting the same by the year 2022.

Lauding the crowd for listening so patiently he said that he felt like speaking on and on. He said that earlier some Babu sitting in Delhi use to decide the shape and size of the homes but under BJP rule the funds are being given in the accounts of beneficiaries so that they can build the homes as per their choice and with the material which is available in their area.
