Winter temperature yet to dip below normal in capital

Ranchi: Despite almost three weeks in the month of November already gone by the chill in the temperature is yet to make the people shiver as the average temperature was still one degree above normal.

Generally in the second week of November, the temperature is between 10-12 degree Celsius however in Ranchi the minimum temperature was at 13.8 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature was at 28 degree Celsius. According to the weather department the minimum temperature at Kanke was at 13.2 degree Celsius.

The local MET department has predicted that till November 22 the weather will remain normal with maximum temperatures hovering around 27-28 degree celsius and minimum at 13-14 degree celsius.
