CM lays foundation for Dhamkuria Bhawan at Karamtoli

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that culture language and tradition are the special identities of the state and it is the priority of the government to ensure that it remains untouched.

Addressing the people after laying the foundation stone for construction of Dhamkuria Bhawan at Karamtoli of the state capital he said that in the last five years the state government has worked to promote the culture of the state and has undertaken many works including construction of boundary wall and beautification of Sarna-Masna sthal, honouring of the traditional tribal heads, upliftment of the regional languages and construction of Akharas.

He said that the virtues which have been handed over by the ancestors needed to be transferred to the next generation and the government was trying to wake up the people and the foundation laying ceremony of this building was part of this effort.

Mr Das said that in this building cultural religious and social works will be held and it is being constructed in such a manner so that in future it can be expanded and arrangements for children of tribals coming from outside would also be in this building and students coming from other districts will also be able to enjoy its benefit.

He said that the youth have got the most important role to play to ensure that the traditional tribal culture is protected. The Chief Minister also extended his greetings on the occasion of Deepavali and Sarai festivals and ask the people to enjoy the festivities.

Those present on the occasion also included Urban Development Minister CP Singh MLA Ramkumar Pahan and Gangotri Kujur and others.
