
Ranchi: The weather department has predicted that the rainfall which is taking place in different parts of the state might extend its stay by another few days.
In its report, the MET has predicted fog for Tuesday and has said that cloud cover is likely to remain in the state till Thursday during which one or two spells of showers can also take place which will further bring down the temperature.
The Monday morning witnessed slight drizzle in the morning which was also coupled with winds however the late afternoon gave way to the clear skies.
The weather department said that Ranchi has recorded rainfall of 2 mm while the minimum temperature was at 19.4 degree celsius.
As per the predictions till Dhanteras Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Khunti, Hazaribagh, Simdega and Saraikela districts can witness one or two spells of showers while in others the weather is likely to remain clear.
