Marandi promises laptops for all 10th pass students

Ranchi: Despite dates for the assembly elections in the state yet to be announced by the Election Commission the parties are making all-out efforts to lure the voters with JVM(P) supremo Baulal Marandi coming out with the free laptop scheme.

Addressing the press here he said that his party will come to power in the state and will provide all 10th pass students with laptops which will consist of questions and answers related to the competitive exams and urged the students to register themselves by October 31 by calling on a mobile number 9773681682.

The former CM apart from the laptop scheme also announced that his government will also shoulder the responsibility of the education of the students and if his party comes to power than for the students higher technical education which is expensive education will provide free so that they can fulfill their dreams.

He said that education is an important aspect of the development of the state. He said that it will be a priority to ensure admission of 25 children hailing from poor sections in the schools so those poor children can also get good education and go on to become doctors and engineers.

However, over the issues related to forming of a coalition, the number of seats which the party will be contesting and many others he said that at the right time answer to such questions will be provided.
